How to apply
Applications
made easier
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to apply for a grant, so we’ve designed a simple application form.
Please only apply for a grant if you meet the criteria. You will also need to provide us with some supporting documentation listed below.

Eligibility checklist
You live in England and Wales.
You have an adopted child, or one with a SGO, in your household who is 21 years old or younger
You have a clearly identified need
You have not received a grant from AME within the last 12 months.
Supporting documents
Proof of adoption
Adoption Certificate or SGO.
Evidence of need
Ideally, you would be able to provide us with evidence of the need, for example, an assessment or school report. If you don’t have any evidence, your application will still be considered.
Details of person or organisation
You would be able to give us details of the person or organisation who is able to do the work/supply equipment. If you don’t know, please talk to us about how you might be able to identify one. Please note: We cannot give advice or recommendations, but we may be able to put you in touch with organisations who can. [INSERT EMAIL ADDRESS]
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis so you can apply anytime. Grants will be considered by the Trustees at quarterly meetings.
